HeroTeller uses artificial intelligence to create personalised stories and optional narration. The service is designed for an adult to make and review content for a child.

How HeroTeller uses AI

AI creates the story text from the choices you provide.
ElevenLabs can create a spoken narration after you choose to request it.
Safety, validation, and quality checks may reject or flag an output before it is saved.
The artwork currently shown in the story experience is curated local artwork, not per-story AI image generation.

How generated content is marked

Story and narration surfaces carry visible AI-generated story and AI-generated narration labels. Final MP3 narration files include a machine-readable ID3 comment identifying HeroTeller's AI narration pipeline. The final audio is composed and re-encoded by HeroTeller, so provider-specific metadata or credentials are not preserved; the ID3 marker is a durable service-level signal, not a Content Credentials replacement.

What to keep in mind

AI can be wrong, repetitive, surprising, or unsuitable for a particular child. Please review the story and listen to the narration before sharing it. Do not enter sensitive information about a child. Read the Privacy notice for data-processing details.

Providers and safety principle

The configured story provider can be Anthropic, OpenAI, or DeepSeek; narration uses ElevenLabs when that optional feature is enabled. Provider configuration, retention, and data-transfer decisions are tracked internally and require owner review. HeroTeller is a storytelling tool, not an emotionally dependent AI companion: experiences must not pressure children to return, claim loneliness, or encourage secret or exclusive relationships.
